We’ve got a few huge announcements from the team at Podium this month.
Starting off, we’re introducing the Podium Marketplace Beta – a new directory of applications that allows you, without Podium intervention, to automate your daily tasks, learn about and install apps, and connect tools you already use to Podium.
We have also rolled out a new Payments homepage to help local businesses access payment information with fewer clicks and less time.
Introducing the next evolution of the Podium Marketplace, now in Beta
Podium Marketplace Beta. The Podium Marketplace gives you the tools to customize your Podium experience for automations that help you work smarter.
Through the Podium Marketplace, you can find the right tool for every job. Browse, learn about, and easily install Apps and Automations—all in a few clicks.
Login to your Podium account and click on the +Apps icon in the right-hand corner of the top navigation for easy access to the Podium Marketplace.
We’re introducing our Podium Marketplace Beta by highlighting three powerful integrations used at many local businesses for you to kickstart your exploration. But, check out the Marketplace for yourself to browse the entire collection of Apps.
Quickbooks Online + Podium. Connecting Podium to QuickBooks Online helps you grow your business through automated reviews and invoice updates.
After installing Quickbooks Online, you can access our automation library where you can enable automated text messages triggered by the app.
For example, you can easily set up and send a trigger message to your customers requesting a review after they have been sent or paid an invoice.
Calendly + Podium. Tons of local businesses use Calendly for easy scheduling. If you’re one of them, consider Connecting Podium to Calendly today! This integration helps you automate appointment reminders, confirmation requests, review invitations, and more.
By using the Podium and Calendly integration, you can text customers with automatic reminders, confirmations, and more. It’s almost like having a scheduling coordinator, but right in Podium.
Hubspot + Podium. The last integration we want to highlight for the month of May is the Podium and Hubspot integration. If you’re a Hubspot user, connecting Podium to HubSpot enables your business to share contacts across systems and automate key moments in the customer journey.
For example, with the Podium and Hubspot integration, you can automatically send a welcome message to any new contacts. With this new integration, the customer’s contact information and message content will be updated and in sync in both Podium and Hubspot. Helping you deliver an even better customer experience with less effort.
Again, to get started navigate to the +Apps Icon in the product. Here you can connect with any of these integrations or browse a collection of several additional apps that save you time in the Podium Marketplace.

We’ve been hard at work on Podium Voice, and in May our Early Access users were introduced to two exciting new features:
Caller ID provides users with useful, at-a-glance context and information about inbound callers, right in Podium. Having quick access to key information around the caller, including their previous interactions with your business, can be the difference between a good and great conversation.
Outbound Calling: You can now start phone calls directly from Podium! Easily connect with customers however you want with simple click-to-call functionality. Once you start a call in Podium, pick up your phone and it will dial out.
