Starting August 5th, we’re introducing a series of updates designed to make your Podium experience more intuitive, efficient, and powerful. These enhancements will help your teams get more done with less effort.
Find What You Need Faster with Keyword Search
We’re transforming how you search within Podium. Now, you can search your messages using both keywords and contact names, making it easier than ever to locate specific conversations.
Imagine you need to find the conversation where you discussed an appointment for Monday but can’t recall the contact’s name. With Keyword Search, simply type in relevant terms, and you’ll quickly find the exact message thread. Now, you can search your conversation history just like you would your email or text threads.
Customize Your Podium Navigation
Access the product areas you use most frequently with our new navigation update.. Now, with inbox present on every page, you’ll stay connected to your customers without missing a beat, no matter where you are on the platform. Customers who were involved with beta testing told us they appreciate how simplified the new navigation is and intuitive.

Organize Smarter with Contact Status
Keeping track of communication in Podium is important. It’s costly when something slips between the cracks. Contact Status Views let you track your contacts through the stages of their interactions with your business. Contact Status Views will replace inbox folders on the left side of your inbox as the primary way to organize your communication in Podium. New leads will be assigned the first status unless otherwise designated on your Automated Inbox Rules settings page.
In preparation for this change we recommend you go to Contact Status Settings to customize the statuses currently set up for your account. Learn more about contact status here.
