HubSpot SMS Sync

The integration between Podium and HubSpot allows for the synchronization of customer conversations from Podium to HubSpot. Additionally, it enables the use of Podium’s Send SMS custom workflow action within HubSpot, facilitating SMS message sending to customers in Podium from marketing campaigns, lead nurturing workflows, and other HubSpot processes.

Setup Process

1. Click Connect.
2. Select the Podium location you’d like to connect to HubSpot.
3. Allow HubSpot to access the appropriate Podium data.
4. Allow Podium to access the appropriate HubSpot data. (Log in to HubSpot if necessary.)
5. Make sure you’ve selected the appropriate country.
6. Designate a HubSpot contact owner for the Podium location you’re connecting by entering their email address.
7. Assign a HubSpot contact owner to log all SMS activities by entering their email address. We recommend using a generic user account, such as “Podium Integration” or something similar.
8. Select the SMS activity type to be logged in HubSpot. You can choose between SMS and Notes.
9. Select the SMS sender name to all incoming messages in Podium or just leave the default “Podium”.
10. Click Finish.
11. Click Activate.
