What's New: AI Employee Sources

Our AI Employee now shows you where he got his information

We just released an exciting new feature for our AI Employee product — the ability to cite its sources when generating message.

Our customers use Podium’s AI Employee product to drive revenue by responding to lead inquiries. In order to make sure our AI Employee responds to different types of inquiries exactly how customers want, we give our AI Employee information about the business in a few forms:

  1. Configurable FAQs
  2. Business-specific configurations

Our AI Employee uses this information as context when crafting a response to a lead. Up until now, it wasn’t possible to see what information our AI was referencing when it created a message. Starting today, customers will see a new feature on AI-generated messages called Sources. Customers can hover over the Sources referenced in an AI message to see where it pulled information from. In the instance where a configured FAQ is incorrect or outdated, you can click it directly to edit it and make sure that our AI Employee is given up-to-date and accurate information about your business for its next message.

This current version of Sources focuses on FAQs, but we have plans to shortly roll out additional types of Sources, including your location-specific configuration such as services offered and business hours.
