What are Date-Based Automations?

We have two new automations under the Automations tab, triggered by date fields on the contact profile in Podium: Happy Birthday Message and the Appointment Follow-Up. These automations can be easily enabled with just a few clicks, allowing you to send personalized messages to clients on special occasions or follow up after appointments.
How Does It Work?
When you click on the automation, you’ll have the flexibility to customize the messaging template, schedule the message delivery time, and even include special offers or promotions for your clients. For example, you can offer a birthday discount to incentivize clients to visit your business on their special day. The system also ensures that marketing messages are only sent to opted-in contacts, ensuring TCPA compliance and customer satisfaction.
Unlocking the Power of Date-Based Automations
But that’s not all! Date-Based Automations can also trigger based on membership expiration dates, anniversaries, and other significant dates relevant to your business. These dates could be default contact attributes in Podium, custom attributes created by you, or attributes syncing from an integration such as ServiceTitan, or Housecall Pro, Service Fusion. This level of automation not only saves time but also keeps your clients engaged and connected with your brand.
