We’ve been working hard to improve the Inbox and want to share a few recent updates as well as note a couple of upcoming changes.
Personalize Messages with Custom Fields
You can now use custom fields from your contact profiles to personalize messages sent from the inbox or in bulk messaging. Type a colon (:) when composing a message, template, or bulk message to see available variables.

Improved Context in Conversation Previews
We’ve added more consistency and information to the message previews in your list of conversations in the inbox. You can now see which user a conversation is assigned to without opening the conversation.
Manage Scheduled Messages as a Team
You work as a team in Podium, and now you can see all scheduled messages in one place and delete scheduled messages when needed. If you delete a message you didn’t schedule, a note will be left in the conversation history.

Coming Soon | Identifying and Fixing Failed Messages
It’s frustrating when a message fails to deliver. In the next few weeks, we’ll be releasing changes to make it easier to find messages that fail, see why they failed, and address the issues. We’ll also be adding a failed message report to your dashboard so you can see failed message trends.
